Blast Camp: The Most Exotic Bad Guys Resort Hotel

Blast Camps are fun, week-long camps in which students experience musical theatre performance. They build confidence by rehearsing a short script written specifically for RMT, and they perform at the end of the week in front of a supportive community of family and friends. In preparing for a performance, students learn discipline and memorization skills that they can take with them to their scholastic work.
This week’s script is The Most Exotic Bad Guys Resort Hotel. Everyone's favorite doom-and-gloom crew, the Addams Family, are hosting some of the greatest villains of all time at the Most Exotic Bad Guys Resort Hotel. Join Wednesday, Pugsley and some familiar musical theatre friends as a plot unfolds to give these villains a vacation they’ll never forget! Featuring songs from Hamilton, High School Musical, and The Addams Family Musical, you are guaranteed to have a terrible(ly) wonderful time!

Theme Camp: Camp Half-Blood
Ages: 7 - 12

By cultivating original characters, students will creatively explore the world of Percy Jackson and create their own Camp Half-Blood Camper. On their quest, students will discover their powers, defeat monsters, and befriend mythical creatures. At the end of the week, students showcase their adventures for family and friends use their newly learned acting and characterization skills. Through imagination and creativity, you’ll learn theatre fundamentals and find the Greek hero within yourself!

Join our friends from DRUM the program for a 6-week African-inspired dance class designed to celebrate diversity and foster connection. Open to all levels, this class offers a welcoming space where you'll explore vibrant rhythms, learn dynamic dance techniques, and move together in community. Experience the joy of dance while cultivating a deeper sense of belonging and connection to others in an inclusive and supportive environment.
No Previous Dance Experience Needed.

Play Making: Encanto
Ages: 4 - 6
May 26th - 29th from 9 am– 12 pm (Please note there is no class on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.)
Rising 4K - 1st Graders
Budding artists let their imaginations run wild while they creatively explore theatrical storytelling. These half-day classes are designed to cultivate inventiveness as students learn the basics of theatre through collaboration and creative play. This week's camp will allow students to explore what it would be like to live in the magical casita of the Familia Madrigal. Can you control the weather like Pepa? Talk to animals like Antonio? Or, do you see the future like…that guy we don’t talk about?
Your child must be able to use the bathroom unassisted.
Triple Threats: Follow the Yellow Brick Road
Ages: 6 - 8
May 26th - 29th from 9 am– 4 pm (Please note there is no class on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.)
Rising 1st - 3rd Graders
Triple Threats is a preparatory education program for young people wishing to learn the basics of becoming a “triple threat” musical theatre performer: singing, acting, and dancing. During the week-long camp, students will learn 3-5 production numbers to be performed at the end of the week for friends and family. In preparing for a sharing, students practice ensemble building, discipline, and memorization skills that they can take with them to their scholastic work. This week is all about taking a stroll down the yellow brick road to explore the wonderful land of oz! Who knows, Elphaba and Glinda might decide to join us along the journey…
The students will be split into 2 groups of 15-25 students based on age. If you would like to request that your student be placed in the same group as their friend or sibling who may not be the same age, please send us an email at education@redmountaintheatre.org.
Theme Camp: The World of Super Mario

Rising 2nd - 5th Graders
By cultivating original characters, students will explore the World of Super Mario! Join Mario and Luigi as they rescue Princess Peach from the clutches of King Bowser, who has kidnapped her and plunged the Mushroom Kingdom into chaos with his army of Koopas. Through creative group storytelling, you’ll travel beyond the video games and movies to create your own original character in the world of Super Mario. At the end of the week, students use their newly learned acting and characterization skills in a sharing for family and friends. Through imagination and creativity, you’ll learn basic theatre fundamentals and have a great time!

Play Making: Toy Story
