Teen Master Class Series
Ages: 11 - 18
Practice like the pros do, with "Master Class Mondays." Each class will be two hours long and will provide a hands-on opportunity for students to engage with industry professionals in specialized topics. The dates for Spring 2026 classes are:
- February 9th from 5:30-7:30 pm (Puppeteering)
- March 30th from 5:30-7:30 pm (Special Effects Stage Makeup)
- April 20th from 5:30-7:30 pm (Technical Theatre: Costume Design)
Each class must be registered for individually (there is no bundle at this time).

Blast Camp: The Most Exotic Bad Guys Resort Hotel

Blast Camps are fun, week-long camps in which students experience musical theatre performance. They build confidence by rehearsing a short script written specifically for RMT, and they perform at the end of the week in front of a supportive community of family and friends. In preparing for a performance, students learn discipline and memorization skills that they can take with them to their scholastic work.
This week’s script is The Most Exotic Bad Guys Resort Hotel. Everyone's favorite doom-and-gloom crew, the Addams Family, are hosting some of the greatest villains of all time at the Most Exotic Bad Guys Resort Hotel. Join Wednesday, Pugsley and some familiar musical theatre friends as a plot unfolds to give these villains a vacation they’ll never forget! Featuring songs from Hamilton, High School Musical, and The Addams Family Musical, you are guaranteed to have a terrible(ly) wonderful time!

Blast Camp: Disappearing School
Ages: 9 - 14
June 1st – 5th from 9:30 am– 4:30 pm
Rising 4th - 8th Graders
Blast Camps are fun, week-long camps in which students put their musical theatre performance skills to the test. Through rehearsals focused on singing, acting, and dancing, students build confidence by rehearsing a short script written specifically for RMT. At the end of the week, they perform in front of a supportive community of family and friends. In preparing for a performance, students learn discipline and memorization skills that they can take with them to their scholastic work.
The Garcia sisters are a little unusual – not only are they triplets but they have magical powers. When a wish goes wrong, it transports them to one of the most magical places around: Disappearing School. They must learn about their new powers in order to set their wish right and return home.

Teen Audition Intensive: Process and Practice (June)

Ages: 14 - 18
June 1st - 5th from 9:30 am- 4:30 pm
Rising 9th - 11th Graders
Using the audition room as a playground for growth, become your own best product. Let our team of professionals advance your journey to being the best working artist that you can be. In this one-week intensive, you will dive deep into auditioning through focused work in singing, acting, and dancing. Take ownership of your artistic journey!
Prior to the start of camp, students must prepare:
- a 30-60 second monologue from a play they have read
- a 16-32 bar cut of a musical theatre song
- a headshot and resume
Material does not need to be polished, but rather ready to be worked.
Instructors: Tawny Stephens (Acting Technique), Daley Dressler (Song Interpretation), and TBA (Dance)
Daily Schedule:
- Dance - students will explore a variety of theatre dance styles through learning and breaking down the choreography for mock auditions.
- Acting - students will work their chosen monologue by applying different theatrical techniques.
- Song Interpretation - students will navigate the acting choices within their musical audition cut through one-on-one coaching featuring live accompaniment.
- Audition Package - These daily workshops will focus on how to achieve "Success in the Audition Room".
At the end of the week, students will participate in a mock audition where they will receive feedback from local industry professionals. There will also be a parent meeting on Friday from 3:30-4:30 pm, for those who can attend.
Blast Camp: Shake It Off (June at RMT)
Ages: 9 - 14
June 8th - 12th from 9:30 am– 4:30 pm

This week’s camp is calling all Swifties! This FEARLESS story weaves together the songs of pop sensation Taylor Swift. Start counting the MIDNIGHTS until this fun-filled camp begins, because we’re about to dance like it’s 1989. It’s sure to fill up quickly, so SPEAK NOW or forever hold your peace!

Musical Theatre Intensive (June)
Ages: 11 - 15
June 8th - 12th from 9:30 am- 4:30 pm
Rising 6th - 8th Graders
Do you love musical theatre performance? Want to take your skills to the next level? This intensive will help you do just that! Explore your unique storytelling craft with techniques, tips, and feedback. This camp is invaluable for those looking to hone their singing, acting, and dancing skills.
Our instructors are skilled, triple-threats musical theatre professionals, who will craft age-appropriate content to meet the varied skill-levels of each student in the course. There will be 3-5 group musical numbers (solos to be assigned throughout the week) and scene work chosen specifically for each student. All skill levels welcome, but a basic knowledge of theatre is encouraged. Students will not need to prepare any material in advance of the first day.

RMT in Alabaster: Wizard of AL Blast Camp
Ages: 9 - 14
June 8th-12th from 9:30 am– 4:30 pm

In this week’s camp, it’s “The Wizard of Oz”, but not as you know it. Dotty Mae is a lonely girl who gets swept up into the mysterious land of AL. With her new friends, she must travel to find the great Wizard who can send her home. This southern take on a classic story includes music from the movie as well as from Wicked.
This camp will take place at Thompson High School, 1921 Warrior Pkwy, Alabaster, AL 35007. There is no option for extended care or lunch purchase for this session.
