Theme Camp: Winter at Hogwarts

By cultivating original characters’ students will explore what it would be like to spend a winter at Hogwarts! From playing wizard’s chess by the fireplace to adventuring in Hogsmeade, students will explore the wizarding world through creative play and storytelling. They’ll be sorted into houses, participate in classes, and play creative games centered around a winter at Hogwarts. Through imagination, we’ll travel beyond the pages of the books into a world of our own creation!

Students will be exposed to the transformative technique of acting. Learn to tell incredible stories using only your body, voice, and imagination. This is an excellent option for beginner- to intermediate-level students, and will focus on truthful storytelling, character, and basic skills for reading scripts!
Youth Theatre Dance Styles

Students will learn about 3 different styles of dance used in musical theatre performance: jazz, tap, and musical theatre dance. Learn how to dance your heart out for the back row of a Broadway theatre! This class will introduce students to varying styles while emphasizing learning performance skills such as connecting with the audience, and telling a story using your whole body.
Triple Threats: Follow the Yellow Brick Road
Ages: 6 - 8
Ages 6-8
9 am - 4 pm
Triple Threats is a preparatory education program for young people wishing to learn the basics of becoming a “triple threat” musical theatre performer: singing, acting, and dancing. During the week-long camp, students will learn 3-5 production numbers to be performed at the end of the week for friends and family. In preparing for a sharing, students practice ensemble building, discipline, and memorization skills that they can take with them to their scholastic work. This week is all about taking a stroll down the yellow brick road to explore the wonderful land of oz! Who knows, Elphaba and Glinda might decide to help along your journey…

By cultivating original characters, students will creatively explore the world of Percy Jackson and create their own Camp Half-Blood Camper. On their quest, students will discover their powers, defeat monsters, and befriend mythical creatures. At the end of the week, students showcase their adventures for family and friends use their newly learned acting and characterization skills. Through imagination and creativity, you’ll learn theatre fundamentals and find the Greek hero within yourself!
