Whether you’re looking to be the next cast member on SNL, or you’re hoping for a promotion at work, the foundations of this time-honored skill will help you be able to keep up in any conversation. Acting has been proven to grow public speaking skills, stimulate memory, and boost teamwork mentality, so students will leave being prepared for any professional or performance situation, paired with a whole bunch of laughs along the way!

Students will learn about 3 different styles of dance used in musical theatre performance: jazz, tap, and musical theatre dance. Learn how to dance your heart out for the back row of a Broadway theatre! This class will introduce students to varying styles while emphasizing learning performance skills such as connecting with the audience, and telling a story using your whole body.

Teen Acting (13-18)

Teen Master Class Series

Ages: 13 - 18

Practice like the pros do, with "Master Class Mondays." Each class will be two hours long and will provide a hands-on opportunity for students to engage with industry professionals in specialized topics. The dates for Spring 2026 classes are:

  • February 9th from 5:30-7:30 pm (Puppeteering)
  • March 30th from 5:30-7:30 pm (Special Effects Stage Makeup)
  • April 20th from 5:30-7:30 pm (Technical Theatre: Costume Design)

Each class must be registered for individually (there is no bundle at this time).

Triple Threats: Follow the Yellow Brick Road

Triple Threats is a preparatory education program for young people wishing to learn the basics of becoming a “triple threat” musical theatre performer: singing, acting, and dancing. During the week-long camp, students will learn 3-5 production numbers to be performed at the end of the week for friends and family.  In preparing for a sharing, students practice ensemble building, discipline, and memorization skills that they can take with them to their scholastic work. This week is all about taking a stroll down the yellow brick road to explore the wonderful land of oz! Who knows, Elphaba and Glinda might decide to help along your journey…
