Triple Threats is a preparatory education program for young people wishing to learn the basics of becoming a “triple threat” musical theatre performer: singing, acting, and dancing. During the week-long camp, students will learn 3-5 production numbers to be performed at the end of the week for friends and family. In preparing for a sharing, students practice ensemble building, discipline, and memorization skills that they can take with them to their scholastic work. This week is all about songs from tv, movies, and musical theatre that evoke a feeling of Fantasy!
The students will be split into 2 groups of 15 students. If you would like to request that your student be placed in the same group as their friend or sibling who may not be the same age, please send us an email at education@redmountaintheatre.org.
Blast Camp: Fantasmagorical Machine
with Kim Hutchens

Ages: 9 - 14
June 16th - 20th from 9:30 - 4:30 pm
Ages 9-14
Blast Camps are fun, week-long camps in which students put their musical theatre performance skills to the test. Through rehearsals focused on singing, acting, and dancing, students build confidence by rehearsing a short script written specifically for RMT. At the end of the week, they perform in front of a supportive community of family and friends. In preparing for a performance, students learn discipline and memorization skills that they can take with them to their scholastic work.
In this week’s camp, a mysterious traveler whisks lonely kids away in his magical flying machine, but is he friend or foe? Paige isn’t sure, but she does know one thing. It’s up to her to help the rest of the kids get back to their parents, before it’s too late. The Fantasmagorical Machine uses the classic songs of the Sherman Brothers (composers of Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) in an all-new adventure.
