These half-day classes are designed to cultivate inventiveness as students learn the basics of theatre through collaboration and creative play. This week's camp will allow students to explore what it would be like to live in the magical casita of the Familia Madrigal. Can you control the weather like Pepa? Talk to animals like Antonio? Or, do you see the future like…that guy we don’t talk about?

Your child must be able to use the bathroom unassisted.

Rising 1st - 3rd Graders

Triple Threats is a preparatory education program for young people wishing to learn the basics of becoming a “triple threat” musical theatre performer: singing, acting, and dancing. During the week-long camp, students will learn 3-5 production numbers to be performed at the end of the week for friends and family.  In preparing for a sharing, students practice ensemble building, discipline, and memorization skills that they can take with them to their scholastic work. This week is all about taking a stroll down the yellow brick road to explore the wonderful land of oz! Who knows, Elphaba and Glinda might decide to join us along the journey…

The students will be split into 2 groups of 15-25 students based on age. If you would like to request that your student be placed in the same group as their friend or sibling who may not be the same age, please send us an email at education@redmountaintheatre.org.
