Blast Camp: The Trick of Time
with Kim Hutchens
Ages: 9 - 14
Ages 9-14
9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Blast Camps are fun, week-long camps in which students experience musical theatre performance. They build confidence by rehearsing a short script written specifically for RMT, and they perform at the end of the week in front of a supportive community of family and friends. In preparing for a performance, students learn discipline and memorization skills that they can take with them to their scholastic work.
This Week’s Script is The Trick of Time. Josephine and her friends make a New Year’s Resolution to never grow up. Father Time has other plans though – if children decided to never grow up, his World of Time is changed forever. A secret potion proves to these kids that messing with Time never works out well.
